It is a real honor to offer this unique piece of motoring history to its next owner. After Bills passing this Caribbean was sold in xxxx, disassembled and restored. It has just gone through a thorough inspection and extensive refreshing to where it is now an exceptional 92-95 point show car. More rare than being 494th of 750 Caribbeans built, this is 1 of very few built with a 3-speed manual transmission, manual windows. (Most had automatic and power windows.) Unfortunately no production records are available but a well known Packard expert, Joe, suggests this example may be 1 of 1; manual transmission, manual windows finished in Catalina Creme with Cranberry & Creme leather and Cranberry top (which Joe says is correct). Joe also says the only thing not correct about the car is the missing hinged panel covering the spare tire well. But he says the entirely flat floor feature was often removed to accommodate a spare spare - to protect the continental kit from damage. Beyond that - from the power antenna, radio, red wheel centers and more, the details of this Caribbean are exemplary. The fit and finish in and out are equally outstanding. Mechanically and electrically this car is superb, authentic, correct, original, & splendid! All this storied classic needs is the next "Bill" to provide the loving home it so rightfully deserves.
